THE 31 THINGS I WILL DO WHEN I FINISH MY MFA
(being updated, one a day, from 10/25/10.)
1. I will read Gabriel Garcia-Marquez's Love in the Time of Cholera.
2. I will get a haircut.
3. I will visit Decatur, Illinois, and consider punching Garret Sayles in the yarbles.
4. I will write a book proposal and submit it to Llewellyn.
5. I will run Curse of the Yellow Sign and find a way to kill Kenny Hardcastle.
6. I will devote as many days as possible to hanging out with Harry Althoff before he goes back to Japan.
7. I will spend some time at Goose Creek, writing and watching Orson Welles movies.
8. I will listen to every one of the Beatles' albums.
9. I will write a new Citadel story.
10. I will finish applying to PhD programs at UMKC, UIUC, and hell, Mizzou, one more time.
11. I will watch the Dr. Who Christmas Special with my girlfriend and also probably Lucy the Cat.
12. I will submit every story I have to journals and/or publishers. That includes ARGEN THE DEMON, which has basically been sitting on my hard drive for two years.
