Hi SG. I know I don't post here, uh, ever, mainly because maintaining three different blog/journal/things is difficult.
I got good news earlier in the month. My story "Three Encounters with the Gods" DID appear in the most recent issue of Ashe! Journal, and the magazine is pretty slick. I also got a new car and a new computer (although I had to get both because their predecessors broke, which wasn't so great.) I also got cleared to switch to the MFA program here at UMKC, so I might stay here another semester.
I got bad news earlier today. Didn't get in to Mizzou. They were my top pick, so I'm pretty bummed. On the other hand, it might do me some good to get out of the university setting for a little while, once I'm done with this MFA. We'll see.
