Ahhh!!! I feel like I've been so out of touch!
My parents came for a long weekend, which was great because I hadn't seen them in FOREVER!!! Or what seemed like it, anyway. It was great to see them. We ate good food, had good chats, did some cool stuff. For example, we went an explored around Half Moon Bay for a day. If you're ever down there check out Chez Shea. It's a really awesome organic cafe that serves a wide range of cuisines. (If you can't find something you like there, you really have no business eating. ) REEEEALLY tasty! And actually it was probably one of the cheaper restaurants we found downtown.
Afterwards we drove up Hwy 1 for a bit, stopping in Moss Beach to go to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve which was really cool. We checked out all the little tidepools, found some limpets, lots of anemones, coralline algae, and a couple of fish. It's also pupping season for the harbor seals. They were all chillin out on the beach and the rocks...couldn't get too close though. I took a bunch of pics while we were there, I'll post them tomorrow hopefully! Unfortunately I didn't bring along the telephoto, so no greta pics of the seals.
Other than that there is not much else to report. I've been playing with my sewing machine most of the day. And the computer software that goes with it. Not very user-friendly considering the target audience, but hey...what can ya do?
Hope you all are having a fine and fabulous weekend so far!!!
XOXO
