I got my grade today for my midterm paper in my Law and Social Control class (it is worth 35% of my grade or something)...So I must say that I didn't think this grade was possible in graduate school..and also Dr.Tracy sent out an email about the grades and he said that a lot of the papers were not very good, so he is letting people revise them..But I won't have to do that because I got a 100! I couldn't believe it, I feel like such a badass. I also got my paper back in my Crime & Criminals class and I got an A. I have had so much work in my classes, that I was worried that I was having trouble keeping up. I guess I was wrong! This is definitely something that I am glad to be wrong about...
So tonight was the last night the Brits were in town. They wanted me to take them to get a gift for Meredith, so we went to Central Market. Mishal made us leave pretty quick because he wanted to go to the bakery section and eat all the cupcakes. Instead of baked goods, we went to a liquor store and bought stuff. We had a relaxed time at Meredith's house and we watched "Weeds" season 2 and had pizza and drinks. We also watched an episode of Nip Tuck, Mishal said that it was like a soap opera from the 80's..he has a point. haha. After a while we went on the balcony and looked at my SG account. It was a lot of fun, looking at porn with a bunch of British guys. haha. We ended the night with a Borat, well a few Borats. We were talking about the Borat movie and Meredith has never seen Da Ali G show. And of course like all Brits, they love Ali G. So we made Meredith watch the clips even though she wanted to go to sleep. It was great!
