Thanks, everyone for your words of encouragement on my last post. I was feeling pretty damn bad. And I didn't really mean not to log onto here, but I pretty much abandoned everything online for a while.I am feeling much better now. I have started to date again and have been having a great time.Life is much much better.
I have been super busy lately. School has been insane, I have been reading and reading, but am nowhere close to being done. Big suck! So this past Thursday I went out for Sushi with my friend Judy. We caught up and she told me how she doesn't like her friends because they are all having children...boo to that! She said that I am probably her only friend now without any kids. Haha. Later I went to class and none of us had the book, so Dr.T let us out early so we could go to kinkos and copy it. That was funny, we had a Kinkos field trip.
After that I went to pick up Matt, call David and Jessica and sped over to Club Clearview to meet up with Meredith and the Brits. The show was interesting and I liked Mishal's(Awesome guy who is Arabic, from London) and Matt's (I call him British Matt,to differentiate him from the other Matt, he plays the drums)set.As the night progressed I noticed how friggin drunk Meredith was, she was about to pass out. So, obviously I left and thought she was fine to drive home. haha. No, Jessica and David took the Brits and went to a Thai place. And Matt drove Meredith's car (with the band's gear and Meredith passed out), and I drove my car over to Meredith's place. We helped her out of the car and helped her up the stairs..And finally I thought it was alright to leave. Meredith went to bed (and apparently stripped off her clothes in the living room on the way to bed..we missed that...) and we went to meet up with everyone else. Mishal said something funny (and I think Emily will appreciate this) he said "I wish I had a tapeworm so I could eat loads of sweets and buckets and buckets of ice cream..oh and cookies too.Oh, and loads of chocolate". British Matt said "I can't take my drink outside so I can smoke a fag? That is bollocks!!".(I thought that was great) The Brits drank more whiskey and we all talked about London and other funny things till 3 in the morning. It was a great night!
Plenty more happened this weekend,late night movie watching, drinking,going to clubs and restaurants,going out to buy Claratin in the middle of the night (thanks Matt),but I am pretty lazy and don't want to type it all out. Oh, but I did go out with the Brits to eat Mexican food. That was very funny, they had interesting questions about Mexican food. They both wanted to know what an enchilada is, and if it has rice. Those funny guys. They come back Wednesday(from Austin) and we are all going out to eat and drink. Although I know I cannot keep up with them. It will definitely be fun!!
