Today was a pretty slow day over all, I also noticed I have posted a blog pretty much every day the past few days. Went out for a bit of a walk today while the weather was decent. By decent I mean just around freezing but not so cold I was freezing my ass off. Pretty much a boring Sunday in Moncton. I have noticed since I moved here back in Sept. of 2011 that it doesn't really have very much to do, especially if you don't have a vehicle to get around to some of the more interesting places. I have been to Crystal Palace, which wasn't really all that great. There are two hobby shops I have come across so far. Comic Hunters and Gamezilla. Back when I passed my written test for my drivers license I stopped into Gamezilla and picked up Arrow #1 - 4. I also have picked up some of the books to be able to get a pathfinder game group going. I just need to find some people willing to play and then I will run a game.
The Last few hours I have been playing a game called Perfect World International. To be honest, the game is very very horrid. For a game that has been out for almost 8 years, lots of content and time to evolve into something that could of been more. It really hasn't.
The quest system isn't truly fluid, you miss out on numerous quests at the low levels from what I have seen so far. The story of it leaves lots of be desired, especially if you are skipping over quests because you are out leveling everything too quickly.
The graphics could of been at least updated, I found lots of tearing and sliding along the ground. I have a high end graphics card now so I have everything turned up, but I felt like I was playing something from the late 90's. Something akin to Everquest. And hell I enjoyed EQ when I first played it, didn't even mind the grind the game was. But now a game needs to look beautiful, and play fluidly. And still PWI didn't even get that right.
All in all if I were to rate it on a 1-10 scale, I would have to give it a 3. And only that because it at least can keep a person distracted for a little while even if it doesn't truly quench their need for something interesting and at least challenging.

It is all about the enjoyment of what game you are playing and relaxing.
