I went to my first ever burlesque audition on Saturday, and now I'm patiently awaiting to hear the results. Everyone was very warm and welcoming, which is quite helpful if you have a stomach full of butterflies and head full of worries. My routine was based around Rainbow Dash and I must say that bit alone was a show-stopper haha. Apparently the lead gal has a great appreciation for the color blue, so i think I might have won some brownie points with that.
The troupe that I tried out for is unfortunately an hour away and they have two meetings weekly, so that bit might be a tad unrealistic but...what the hell, Im sure something could be worked out in the age we live in.
