i play no-wave, experimental guitar at the mo - in other words, i don't acturally know how to play. I'm also getting into my jazz, so jazz guitar is starting to come out while playing.

I love the bass (you play bass guitar?), it's probably the most underrated instrument, there is so much more you can do on that than a guitar.

So any bands that are heavily influencing your experimentation streak?

bands that heavily influence me are so wide and varied--demented r go, the damned(machine gun etiquette) nick cave (let the love in) gunclub-mother juno everything but the girl (walking wounded) nomeansno, L7(smell the magic) the meters, stanely turrentine, gilscott heron, coltrane(equinox)
i luv jazz, i adore punx and i'm mesmirized at times by how ultimatley incredible the bass actually is--oh operation ivy i waz groovin on--and if you've ever heard of the geraldine fibbers you gotta cx them out--i waz djing for a few yrs there and mainly playing electronic music--techno n house--now im getting back 2 my roots --yet ive recently acquired this prgm called fruity loops and its kinda fun--just need some more drum beats--eagles of death metal are grand
last nite i saw the goregore girls and the legendary shack shakers--they were an excellent band--i was throughly disappointed w/the gore gore girls--they are not an all girl punxband and i wouldnt even put punx in a sentence w/them--redundant pop---anyhoo--im still jonesing a good show--i need nick cave!!!
