why wasn't there more hype around gus van zandt's ELPEPHANT instead of napoleon dynamite. i wanted to watch this in england at the start of last year, but sadly didn't and i'm so glad i have now. an amazing insght into somebodies perception on a tragedy that is all too familiar about a school. very fly-on-the-wall style of "docu-drama".

Elephant is indeed extremely good, the subject matter was treated very well and there was a lot of imagery in there that stuck in my head. It was a pleasant surprise. Look how coherent I am at 5:11am. Astounding.
