I ran into someone I used to see a lot when I was DJing last night and in the middle of our conversation she stopped me and said she always thought I was an asshole and player but realized how wrong she was. It trips me out how people put others in buckets to help define the world around them. Humans love lists and simple design patterns. I try hard to never follow that mantra. The world is open diverse and beautiful and so are a lot of the people in it.
I have traveled a lot and met a ton of people, so yes, I do see patterns, but I think we should be open letting people reveal who they really are, good or bad. This made me ask 10 friends I know from different arenas of my life to describe me and this is what I was sent:
