Well, I'm finally a member of the SG community! (Haha, it only took me a few years to finally "take the plunge")

Time for a proper introduction:
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Classified and ranked as a nerd through my early years, attend college at UCLA and majored in Psychology. Worked a few odd end jobs on film sets and music stages, from health insurance to investment firms to being a business paralegal - things just didn't feel right. I couldn't help but feel this HUGE need of a change. So in a short two weeks, I quit my job, severed my ties, kissed my ridiculously overpriced studio in Hollywood goodbye, and hitched rides across the United States with my cat until I finally landed in Columbus, OH. TA-DA! I've been here for a little more than a year and I love every bit of it - things are starting to feel right. My life is in order, I work in chemistry, and have made a couple close friends.

Making friends - real challenge. Not saying that joining SG will solve that problem for me, but it's definitely showing me a community that share the same interests as I do. And everyone is drop dead gorgeous
