My short vacation is nearly over and far too soon it will be back to reality.
Spent a few days off the grid on Mayne Island...
Then it was a few days in Seattle and my annual pilgrimage to the Gorge to see Dave Matthews Band. There was so much traffic this year. Over the 3 days that I went down I spent almost 16 hours in the car. Got to go to a couple more Diners, Drive-ins & Dives locations though. One was Bizzarro which is a funky little Italian restaurant. Super food and great service.
And went to the 80+ year old The 5 Point Caf.
Dave Matthews was a great show as always.
I only wished I went to the Saturday night show instead of the Friday. The set list for Saturday night was way better but at least I had great seats. Maybe next year I will have to look at going all 3 nights that they play The Gorge...
