Just a quick update
Things have got relatively back to normal in the pond following the big freeze a while back
I am quite surprised by the self sustaining ecosystem that seems to have established itself over the years, we've still got sticklebacks after getting some out of a lake when I was 10.
Despite the frogocalypse (we found 16 frogs that had frozen
, sub-zero temperatures are no friend to the amphibian) there's been plenty of frogspawn as evidenced by this:
Also I've been dabbling with some baking this week

I think they look pretty good for a first attempt.
