METALLURGY
So I got some new tunes the other day so here's a run down on what's just been added to my collection and what I've been listening to lately.
thought Volcano was good but the new album is even more of an improvement. There's only 8 tracks but they're all top notch. The combination of Satyr's excellent riffs, low rumbling drums courtesy of Frost and the subtle addition of horns is quite stunning in songs like "To The Mountains" which sounds like a call to arms, not forgetting the brilliant atmosphere of track like "The Rite Of Our Cross" & "Delirium". Top notch stuff.
I'm a big fan of Rob Zombie, ever since I heard " Thunderkiss'65" and it's good to see he hasn't lost any of his flair or talent. This new offering is stripped down compared to his previous stuff but no worse for it. From cinematic intro " Sawdust In The Blood" to the closing stomp a long of "The Lords Of Salem" it's damn good stuff.
Just started listening to Paradise Lost again forgot how good this album is. Another I hadn't listened to in a while was Otep
Otep has to be one of the top "I don't give a fuck what you think" women in music today and definately proves that it ain't just guys that can do brutal vocals .
I'm really starting to like Black Label Society just the right mix of classic riff stylings with a bit of blues thrown in just listen to " The Blessed Hellride" and you'll see what I mean.

do you have all your stuff backed up?
unless you're curious to find out how you'll deal with it all when a similar thing happens to you..
