Houston has gone bat fuck crazy.
There is no gas.
It can take up to an hour to travel a mile.
People are running out of gas trying to get out of the city, but there is no where to get more.
I passed an army truck on the way to work that was stalled and aggravated the already desperate traffic jam.
If things don't change, the people that leave now will possibly still be in Houston when the storm hits. Stuck in the middle of no where in your car is no place to be during a hurricane.
Things are only going to get worse.
The closer it comes the more desperate people will get.

The airport is pure chaos. I got here really early so I am covered. Now all I have to do is kill 5 more hours. Hence my SG update on a public internet terminal at the airport.
Honubandit has been on the road since 6:00ish and is at a total stand still. What would normally take 45 minutes has taken eight hours. Poor thing. She still has so far to go too.
