Part 1:
Someone just dumped a shit load of Jelly Bellies on my desk. Ironically enough I just ate one that tasted like shit. I think it was the coconut. Blegh.
Do you believe in god? I do, but not for some mamby pamby reason like, "Jesus told me so". No, I have a good solid logical reason for believing in a higher power. Life is far too complex to exist as an accident. In a universe that is hell bent on entropy, it simply does not make sense to have something as resilient as life come forth.
Look at evolution and realize how slow the process really is. Now imagine the very first life born in some nasty protein soup millions of years ago. Now try and think how fragile Life version 1.0 really is. It is totally unevolved and has only 1 environment it can survive. Any flux in temperature or ANYTHING at all will destroy the weak firstborn until it adapts and evolves. Now lets go back to how long evolution really takes.
MMmmmm!! Cinnamon Jelly Bellies are divine!
AnywayThe first organism had no immunities. It had no temperature tolerance. It would be highly unlikely it could eat anything other than what it was already around. It shouldn't have lived. In our chaotic universe, without some sort of help there really is no way it should have survived.
Now I'm not saying I belive in religion of any sort. That would be silly...
