Weird day. I've never had to negotiate with a landlord to rent a house before. We want to move in on the 25th and are very willing to pay the prorated rent. She desperately wants us to move in on the 15th. For some reason she is stuck on this stupid date. I don't want to pay prorate for another 10 full days...It's too expensive. So, thus we entered negotiations. Her compromise was to have two of us prorate half a month...using each of our monthly share of the rent. Confused? I know. Basically, since there is four of us, split the rent four ways to get each persons share. Then split that in half because we are only paying for half a month. Then multiply that by two because she wants two of us to move in. What kind of crazy person is this?!?

On another note, I went in to do the drug test for my new job this morning. Unfortunately my stupid ass took my traditional early morning piss so when I got in there my tank was running on empty. I did my very best and fell short by about a teaspoon so the lady made me sit there for an hour drinking massive amounts of water. Not the best way to start my day.
