God bless Lethal Weapon marathons. It doesn't get much better than this.

I had no idea until today that Richard Donner, the genius behind the first and second Superman flicks, also directed the Lethal Weapon series, Goonies and The Omen. Damn...that's quite a resume.

I had an idea for how to control illegal immigrants from entering from Mexico. Implants. Seriously. All convicted illegals should be tagged. We could set up satalites that immigration could use to track them if they reentered the U.S. There would obviously need to be legislation in place strictly forbidding the government from using it on American citizens under any circumstances. It could even be set up in such a way that no personal info is tracked...it would be nothing more than a signal. I'm not suggesting we step up raids on illegals in the country already...it's just a way to keep the ones we catch from coming back. The tags would need to be implanted in such a way it'll be freakin expensive to have removed too. Will it ever happen? No...but still...I think it's a good idea.
