" Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned"
So for a while now i am trying to start up my own company. I basicly design, build and create things in viritual worlds for clients or for myself. In order to do something back for the big community that one client is in, the client decided to create a virtual Cuba but more as in the romantic idea we have of it. So now that that has been realised and the client and myself recieved amazing respondses, someone is throwing mud.
Today someone who i know for a long time personally, started throwing mud at me on a public form.
Basicly that person claims that i stole her idea for making a Cuba sim in Second life.
First of all her idea had nothing to with my end result and second of all my client come up with the idea of creating it. And i don't think anybody owns the right the create a spanish influenced city (she wanted to create Manilla which is besides on the other side of the world, totally different)
If you have raised your eyebrow, then you are on the same track as me.
What kinda stings the most besides that it happens on a public form, is that for months and months that person could have contacted me, talk to me, mail me or do whatever to get this "thing" out of the way.
But nothing was said to me directly. That person did contacted my client and they explained it several times and she understood and said sorry.
So why throwing mud now months and months later? I have no fucking clue but somebody must have stirred it all up. Anyway my hands are clean but to be accused leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth, even knowing that i did nothing wrong.
So all i can do is sit back and think of the quote that the Buddha once said..and make sure i am not spending any more energy on this or let it drain me.
Have a great weekend everyone..
Love

Mensen zijn soms vreemde wezens. Ze klinkt jaloers, misschien was je eind resultaat te mooi. Maar dit is niet jouw probleem, je kunt er niets aan veranderen. She has to face her own ghosts. Dus los laten.
Goed weekend ook. xoxo
Gelukkig zijn er ook de kleine persoonlijke overwinningen om de boel weer recht te trekken
Welkom hier op SG trouwens!
