Finally back online... I'm sort of booted from the office, which is where I had access. FIght with the boss, but he can't fire me... And I have to move, so I didn't hook it up at home. So got a wi fi card and found a coffee shop.
Anyhow, London trip is on for the end of the month 26th I believe. There were passport complications last month... Specifically that it costs like three hundred dollars to renew it on short notice. So I'll get to be in England for my birthday.
Curiosity killed is still ominously silent. Not that I post that often myself, but I occasionally make an attempt.
Anaphalaxis, sorry about your troubles man. Seems like you're in a decent frame of mind about everything.
I have this job where I pick up kids with special needs (i.e. slight mental deficiency, trouble with juvenile justice due to drugs, or theivery, etc.) every afternoon. They've always a complaint about a teacher or fellow student giving them undue shit, or their family or friends getting arrested, or that they can't keep up in their classes. The kids are usually able to accept responsibility for their actions, and a lot of the things that bother them are valid. It's hard to tell someone with an IQ of around 63 that life is hard, and always will be, so learn to deal with it. Then I turn around and worry about paying the bills, and getting things done on time, and my grandmother's health, and how some people are such assholes that they literally make other people try to kill themselves, and putting oil in my car, and can I get my passport renewed. Like these things are out of the ordinary. As though everyone dosen't deal with the same shit, day to day. Feels like we have a long way to go, as a species.
To top it all off, W. is back in office.
Long live rock.
