Being new to the community I have a few general questions for anyone who may happen across my profile.
Is everyone online here as cool as they appear to be?
Honest? Straight forward? An online community is a unique environment, in that it presents folks with the opportunity to share very personal experiences, opinions, etc. with little risk of embarassment. It makes me wonder. I believe that I'll be able to get a fairly accurate answer to the second question based on responses to the first.
Wouldn't it be fair to classify the members of SG as either exhibitionists or voyeurs, with a little bit of overlap?
I'm not sure if I'm making sense here, but I would just like to get a feel for the community by hearing directly from some other members.

2. I think it's pretty safe to say you'll get an honest answer from people here. Loads of people treat SG rather like therapy.
3. I guess so, but as far as the male members are concerned aren't all blokes voyeurs?!
What surprised me most when I joined was the amount of totally streight girls that are members. I expected everyone to be a bloke, bi or gay girl or an SG. If it was like that I think I'd have left a long time ago. Not that looking at naked girls ever gets boring, but the community aspect is what keeps me here.
Welcome to SG!
