A friend came in to the shop recently to buy a bike. A few days later he mentioned that everybody working there looked like they should be working in a bike shop. He went on to say that I looked like a cross between a bike shop employee and someone who works in an independant record shop. I thought it was a funny observation since I always wanted to open a record shop. I invisioned myself being a lot like John Kusack's character in High Fidelity. The sad thing is that the internet would make it really difficult to be successful in a music store. It's too easy to download music while sitting on the couch in your underwear.

you're exactly right, about the downloading. That's the big reason why I don't do it very often...the last thing I downloaded, I was trying to recreate a CD that I bought and just can't freakin' FIND
