@bob_dylan,
How were you first introduced to SuicideGirls?
Seeing ads in the Austin Chronicle and flyers at Emo’s for Blackheart Burlesque
~
How did you come up with your SG name?
Bob Dylan is my favorite musician ever…plus, I didn’t want my girlfriend to know I was on here (she dumped me long ago… yes, ladies I know it is hard to believe, but I am single)
~
How long have you been an SG member?
Since that sweet COVID check of 2020
~
What do you do for fun in real life?
I write music
Have you met anyone from SG in real life?
No
~
What do you want people to know about you?
I’m a starving-artist musician. If you listen to my music (Pauly Deathwish on Spotify/iTunes), maybe I can afford to not eat dog food anymore.
~
What is your favorite feature on SuicideGirls.com?
the SG archives
Do you have a favorite photoset? Why or why not?
Yes. Milky Way by @dizmay. It just spoke to my heart. The blue hair and NASA shirt are a great combo. I miss the Russian models, and she was the best of the best. Also a very sweet person.
~
What do you love most about being a part of the SG community?
I love that no one has insulted me. No one has trolled me. And I haven’t run into anyone who is a judgmental antagonist. That is positively-astounding for social media!
How often do you visit the site?
Daily. Sometimes I miss a day, but that’s rare.
~
Who are your favorite SuicideGirls and/or SG Hopefuls?
My favorite SuicideGirl is @sathira. I wrote (and released) an album of flamenco music for her entitled Torched. It has a song called “Sathira” and another called “Sathy”. It is in honor of her Spanish heritage. My favorite Hopeful is @vaneskka. She wrote to me when I was having profound psychological problems and I will never forget that act of kindness.

If you could share a meal with 3 people from the site, who would you choose?
@sathira, @vaneskka, and @missy. I would love to pick Missy’s brain (figuratively speaking). She is a hell of a photographer! I would love to get her perspective on how SG has evolved over the years. This would really help me to flesh out the gaps in my blog series A History of SuicideGirls.
~
Who is your SG Bestie(s)?
Ahh. I really don’t have one. I don’t have friends in real life. And, sadly, the same holds true for SG. Perhaps someday I will find some friends again. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a friend.

Do you have a dream SG set you hope to see happen one day? (Models, theme, location, etc.)
Every @sathira set is a dream set to me. I would love Sathira and @vaneskka to make a set together, but first we gotta get Vaneskka “pink”. As far as themes, I would love something with a Jean-Luc Godard theme. So many great premises, costumes, and set design ideas to be mined from his œuvre! Regarding location, I think anything involving the sites where they filmed Twin Peaks would be BRILLIANT! One further unsolicited suggestion, I think it would be exquisite if @missy photographed Sathira. Now THAT would be an all-star combo!!
~
What part of the site do you visit the most?
I visit the photos. I didn’t at first. It really took me awhile to get a feel for navigating SG. Once a week (every Thursday), I look back through the past week’s sets. I allot myself $20 dollars (out of my food [dog food] budget) to tip four models $5 each. Often I cannot find four contemporary sets that I feel are worthy of such a tip (as I waste away from malnutrition). That’s when I delve into the SG archives. I love tipping the classic models! Conversely, sometimes the contemporary sets are SO GOOD that I have to reload another $10 to tip a couple more models. When this happens, I end up eating dirt that week.
