I've finally been a liiiittle more active here lately, however, life happened and I will have interact with less frequency here for a while.
I'd like kindly ask you to leave you love to my sets , I'm a little gone, but they're still there and still have the chance (and obviously I am trying to at least keep up with my posts on OnlyFans at least, as any income is welcome especially these times.
But ok, now to clarify what's happening (long-ish story):
My bf's father, who hasn't lived alone for some good years now AND is a very stubborn person, has been admitted to hospital almost two weeks ago, which was actually supposed to be only for two days to run some exams. He has drunk a loooot for the past years, especially after his mom passed (he never acted like the winos from the street who can't even stand up for themselves, and he's an adult - ans stubborn - would never listen to others).
Nobody knew until these past days that around 5 years ago his cardiologist had warned him about his liver and how he needed to keep an eye wide open to it (the HEART doctor talking about the LIVER, I believe that's already a sign of how bad things couold be). However, he simply kept living life as if nothing had been said. He has also always been very tolerant to pain (has had tooth surgery with no anesthesia, broke leg bones and walked as if nothing had happened, crazy stuff), but by the end of March he had started feeling worse, not eating well (still drinking, though) and there was this day when he felt such bad pain he had to go see a doctor.
Not surprinsingly, bad news for his liver and after some exams, his doc already said "You'll be waiting for a transplant, no chance of saving yours" - to which he simply asked "What if I just don't?" and the Doctor answered that then, he didn't need to see her again as he'd only have 3 more months to live . That's when he had to go to the hospital (where he is now) just to run a few more exams, and quickly they realized how bad he actually was and sent him straight to the ICU, where he has been till now.
Biggest problem now is: not even medicine can help him now, his liver ended up affecting other organs, he is only living now because of all the ICU equipments on him and dialysis is his only hope, however his organs are not responding anymore. He is somehow stable, but at a family meeting today one of the responsible doctors told us that anything that happens now, like low blood pressure, there is no way of reverse it anymore as his body is not responsive to the medicines and stuff, so it'll be a case of turning all equipments off and saying goodbye...
On the bright sight, there is a sliiiight chance of recovery, and he'll be 24 hours a day with this dialysis, 6 months alcohol free so he is allowed to a liver transplant, and after that then he can have kindey trnsplants, too, but still obviously won't live the same way... Now it's a matter of wait-and-see.
They say cats ususally get all the bad energy around, so also one of our cats has fallen ill suddenly yesterday, no apparent reason, but he's at the vet, being taken care of. Not even the Doctor could explain what may have made him be like that, and we believe is because of all that's been happening. So positive thoughts towards both now.
*Update on the cat: just passed away a couple of hours ago, the doctor was just going to run more exams to try and diagnose him with something, but as soon as she opened the bay he was sleeping at, he just looked at her, gave one last breath and died :(
So, if I seem to disappear, now you know what we're going through, it's a lot to take care of, no matter the result.
For all of you: stay home, safe and, please, DON'T OVERDRINK.
