Had dinner with my parents tonight. Beef Laab, pho & eggrolls. All homemade by mom and for desert she made my favorite, strawberry cream puffs. Those have a special meaning for me as when I was in my teens I loved the band Shonen Knife and after hearing this song:



I really wanted to try them but couldn't find them anywhere. Anyway, my mom, found a recipe for them and surprised me with them on my birthday. At the time we weren't getting along so great so it really meant a lot to me. I wish I had a picture of the ones my mom made but all I have is some that look almost the same.
