Went up to Indianapolis with Pyrate on Tuesday... we were going to review Nellie Mckay who is on tour with Alanis Morissette, and the Barenaked Ladies.... Grrr....Nellie was the opening act.. most of the people that were there came to see that god awful monstrosity called Barenaked Ladies... they didnt even seem to appreciate Nellie, they were sitting around saying "who the hell is that?" and "god she is awful"... it pissed me off so much that I wanted to get up and punch them in the throat. Barenaked Ladies.... watching them "perform" was about as much fun as being scalped alive... I HATE them. I felt like I was a part of MTV Springbreak. Gross.
Nellie was superb though, and Alanis wasnt bad at all. I wouldnt pay to see her perform , but since it was free, hey....
We got lost on the way back, but all turned out well, and alas, we made it home. Got some good pics of Nellie that Pyrate can use for his review. All in all, it was fun until the Barenaked Ladies.

Well, I did it. I told my brother I am leaving the Teddy Bear Taxidermy. He and I actually had a civilized conversation, and he told me that he was happy for me that I got offered a better position at the book store. Yay for amiacable partings. Son, only a week and 2 days until I am done there.
