Living on my own in a house has got me doing things I never even thought about doing AND I'm actually enjoying it. Over the last week I worked out in my yard pulling weeds and stuff, I rented a rug doctor and shampooed my carpets and the seats of my car and I'm designing a new awning for my backyard. In the past either my ex-husband would do that kind of stuff and when I moved I hired a gardener, carpet cleaner, etc. but there is something to be said for doing the work yourself. Its therapeutic.
Along those linesmy ex and I just settled all of our shit so now we can get an easyish divorce.
We've been separated for 2 1/2 years. Im really excited and feel so free. Imagine how good I'll feel when the divorce is final. Part of me will always love him but every time I talk to him on the phone I thank god that were no longer together and that I dont have to deal with his shit very often.
Days like today make me love life![biggrin](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/biggrin.b730b6165809.gif)

I love gardening! Weeding is SO therapeutic. Kill! Hehe!
Oh, man. Good for you for working out the whole divorce thing. I left my husband over a year ago, and we aren't even speaking and there's no way we can come to an amicable agreement. I have to sue his ass. Grrr.
