Well, it's officially been a week since I moved to South Dakota, and what a week it's been! I'm almost entirely unpacked (don't give me too much credit, I only came with a car full of stuff and two cats).
Was surprised to arrive to a book I had shot for back in 2013 that has finally been published! It was great to see the final images. The book, Lucha Diabolica, features naked women of all shapes and sizes in luchador masks, it really goes to show that every body is beautiful. I love it! Here's me in it! It's so weird to see myself without my sides tattooed!
Then on Tuesday I got to see my absolute favorite hip hop artist ever (Sage Francis) preform. The show was so small and personal, it was amazing. We chatted about our cats beforehand and I snagged this instax with him. Words don't even do the whole thing justice. His music has helped me through so many things in the last ten years, and meeting him and singing along to all of his music with him was like meeting a part of myself. I felt so at home.
Other than that, I've been trying to relax and get situated! Oh, and after beating Diablo II for the first time in 2000 and then complaining for the next twelve years about the lack of Diablo III, I'm finally playing it. Only three years late. So where's my award for Master Procrastinator??
