A few months ago I hopped on board with the task of taking over a shootfest for Suicide Girls taking place in Cabo, Mexico. I had absolutely no idea what I was really getting myself into, but after a few weeks of anxiety and planning, I found myself on a plane headed to Mexico.
After clearing customs, I found myself being approached by a shy little cutie with tattoos and piercings. "Are you here for the..." "Yup! I thought you were part of the group." It was @skunchsquirrel - we waited together for the rest of the crew to arrive. It wasn't long before I spotted @frani and @thelabrat in line waiting to clear customs.
We exchanged our currency and gathered our luggage, then out into the heat we went. We were greeted by a cheer of many strangers. "Oh, your beautiful friends! They are here!", "Oh, you must be here for the shootfest!" We'd only been in Mexico for like half an hour and already we were famous.
A majority of us crammed into a van and headed off to what would be our new home for the next week.
As more of us began to arrive at our house, we got to know each other by progressively getting more and more naked. (This in all honesty is the best way to get comfortable with a new group of people)
The rest of the week became a blur of awesomeness. Long days lounging by the pool, shooting sets, being naked, drinking and smoking, exploring Mexico. Making some of the best memories I've made. In conclusion, this shootfest was one of the best times I've had in my life. I made so many wonderful memories, took some seriously beautiful photos, but most importantly, met an incredible bunch of people that I will never forget.
