I... I don't even know where to begin. I geek out over a lot of stuff! What do people consider geeky anymore?!! @bloghomework
Well, let's see... I'm a huge fan of anime and I've been going to anime conventions since 2009, though my love of all things Japanese dates back to childhood. This love grew to the point where in 2009 I flew myself to Tokyo just to mingle for a week, and I also took several semesters of Japanese at a Buddhist school in San Francisco.
I also do a lot of cosplaying, though I don't limit myself to cosplaying just characters from anime. I also really dig DC comics and have cosplayed as both Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn.
When I'm not watching an animated series, you'll often find me watching a good science fiction or fantasy one. Some of my favorites have been Game of Thrones, Battlestar Galactica, True Blood, X Files, Firefly, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. You can thank my mother for my awesome taste in television.
I also enjoying gaming on my ps3 (I'm too much of a scrub for a ps4) as well as PC. Some of my favorite games are Diablo II (never played the 3rd one), Half Life 2 (Gordan Freeman is forever my #mcm and I'm crossing my fingers for a 3rd game), and World of Warcraft (I play Alliance, sorry Horde folks).
When I'm not being geeky indoors, you can find me geeking out over car things. I've been building my '02 VW GTI for the last year with my husband. I also regularly attend car shows in Southern California as well as Formula Drift twice a year.
