What would it be?
I love this homework, @rambo , @missy, @lyxzen . As of now, I do in a way, run my own business. I am a one woman show in my modeling shenanigans and this has been my sole source of income for the last year or so. However, I would one day LOOOOVE to own, live at, and run my own no-kill cat sanctuary, or as my friends like to dub it, "Melissa's Crazy Cat Lady Ranch" -- (yes, they all know about this dream).
Cats have played a huge role in my life since I was a child. I moved around a lot, was incredibly shy, and often had and still have trouble making friends. But you know what I didn't have a trouble with? Cats. My first cat Clay I had for 20 years. He helped me get through EVERYTHING- moving, middle school awkwardness, high school, breakups. In 2013 when my grandma died from cancer and Clay was in poor health from old age, he held out and stayed by my side. It wasn't until five days after my grandma had passed that Clay finally let go. All of that love and support, for all of those years, all because my mom took in a furry little stray with an attitude when I was three years old. My two current cats are also rescue kitties, and they are the loves of my life.
If I could do one meaningful thing in my life, it would be rescue as many cats as possible. Every kitty deserves a loving home.
Now, onto a little something else I like.
Making cute-sy latex things! I started making latex back in 2011 for myself and I fell in love. When I moved down to SoCal in 2013 I could not take all of my tools with me though, as I did not have the space in my apartment. Now that I've moved into a larger place, I hope to get back at it though! Here's one of my fav outfits I ever made, shot on myself. If I had the focus, I would love to further this passion. As of now, I'll probably continue to just make things for myself though :)
