Been busy-ish. Work.
It's October now. Favorite month ever.
Got a lot of books recently. <3
Read five last month. I think the meds are working. I haven't read like that in ages and it's so good to be doing so. I really have loved it and missed it.
I read:
Memoirs of a Geisha, Anthem, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Anansi Boys, and A Year in Provence.
I purchased:
A Year in Provence, Gotham: A History of New York City to 1898, Geisha, a Life, The Tale Murasaki, Flapper: A Madcap Story of Sex, Style, Celebrity, and the Women Who Made America Modern, and My Recipe Keeper - which has pockets to add recipes.
Went to the antique store. Got some good finds!!
Vintage Japanse Geisha postcards with which I am going to mat and frame and use for decor in the bedroom. Too cute.
And the prize of the day?
1944 Varga calendar page, and it's my fave print of his.
I cooked a yummy dinner. Chicken sauted in olive oil with roasted garlic and sun dried tomatoes over fettuccine with a sun dried tomato alfredo topped with fresh grated Parmesan cheese. I also made bruchetta with fresh mozzarella.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
