Hey there Suicide Girls and Boys,
OK, I'm going to get straight to the point. I want to make an independent movie that is influenced by a film maker from the 1960s & 1970s named Russ Meyer. He started as a cameraman in the Vietnam war, and when he returned, he decided to make nudie comedies with busty women. *See Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls, and Vixen, to name a few. I discovered these films in my early teens and have wanted to make a film of my own ever since, but film making is not a one person job.
I'm located in Sydney, so this is a call out to anyone in Australia who has an inclination towards acting and/or isn't shy about nudity and simulated sex scenes, as well as anyone with film crew experience (camera, sound, editing, music, etc). I need your help.
I'm also seeking investors from around the world. I will soon be setting up a page on one of the crowd funding sites where people can donate in return for various rewards. What I will ask of you is your help in advertising this project to raise enough money to be able to make this film look professional and to pay everyone involved.
This was just a preliminary notification to get the ball rolling, but I'd love to hear from anyone interested in joining in. I'd love to shoot this film over the Summer, so things need to get started asap.
