after 8-ish hours on the train because of delays caused by "freighters" according to tongue_boy we dragged our shit all over town to our hotel... despite the advice of affinity a few of us had difficult baggage to lug, oh... and then we had our stuff to carry as well...
we made it to the el station, we hooked our way to armitage and began the trek to clark and lincoln... 2-ish miles and one asthma attack later our group arrived in tact to our weekend home...
and this is where details get tiresome...
we hit neo, had fun...
we owned clark and belmont... which was a loooong and excrutiating walk from our hotel... it's a good thing we took the bus...
there was a little drama...
there was a lot of non-drama...
there was a G-rated manwich where i was the meat, and funkmunky and tongue_boy were the bread and i was wrapped in that blanket tightly like a litte burrito... a burrito with big hips... ha ha
it was the wolverine 351 that brought me home to my city
we took the 22
and on that deck they called a rooftop garden i saw my home
did anyone really want to discuss which is the red and where is the blue?
how much is fare when it's a bit of a hike away?
i didn't know three people could sleep comfortably all night mashed together with me in the middle
i got my souvenier and the healing has begun
and those european ciggarettes made each moment that much more soothing
some of us chose the bookstores over the bars
and found that "on the road" and "east of eden" appealed more than the smoke and the noise
and yes it's my town and my home and where my heart will stay
on the train back here i cried, i felt like i was being dragged to prison
and when i wake up from this dream i will edit the badness out and make the good come true

On a lighter note... it is a pleasure to have you as a new friend-- and if i ever get to hang with you, you'll soon come to see that you can always expect honesty from me!
I will forwarn you though--- i have a tendency to want to grab boobies... can't help myself- I just like them Soooo much... *sigh*
