The thing that comes to mind first was also a warning. And I want to disclaimer this....SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE TOGETHER. I was hanging out with a friend/crush one weekend. I told him about my current beau, which he kinda knew. He kept asking me to re-think this. We hung out and talked all weekend, but he could not change my mind. On his next CD, there were 2 songs about me and what we had talked about. The lyrics in question are "Big eyed Kim, why do you wanna hang around with him? you can tell he's no good for you, the guy with the bad tattoo, Big eyed Kim, please don't take him seriously...etc". If I had listened to him, I would not be in the position that I am now. I know NOW that if a friend gives you a warning about a guy, HEED IT. The old "but I am special, this won't happen to me" bullshit that goes on in a girl's head should be shot.
My favorite song is one that expresses one side of me. Most people see the southern belle, which I truly am. But this song shows and reminds me of how strong, opinionated, aggressive I am.
