My mom's knee surgery is a GO for Thursday. YAY! She has needed this for years, and recently has become almost immobile. She used to be a bigger lady, but she walked 4 miles a day and took water aerobics 3 times a week. I am not really scared, but i am concerned about the surgery. Once she is mobile again, she needs to do the other one too.
My mom also called to tell me that my cousin Glenna had died. She was in her 80's and probably closer to 90. I think that Glenna is my second cousin...maybe mom's second cousin......i dunno, but she was family and we always called her Cousin Glenna. She had been away from our family for quite some time. My Aunt saw her at a celebration on Market Square probably at LEAST 15 years ago and she has been in our family unit ever since. She was something....she had black hair, wore tight jeans, high heels and tons of makeup, and had long red nails ever since the first time that I saw her. She was a loving, caring person and definitely an individual. She has no immediate family and my mom and aunt have taken care of her needs. She lived at an income assisted apartment for at least 20 years, so my mom and aunt had to go there and go through all of her stuff and distribute it to the family since she left everything to them. My mom is giving me one thing that I NEED, but I have no idea what condition it is in. We shall see, but I may have a car! The last time that I saw her drive anywhere, she had a Buick.
I had a lunch meeting yesterday and it went fine, but I got excited when this song came on!
Sunday Girl
Today I had loads of fun making fun of Lisa. She lost a golfing bet and had to wear a plaid golf cap until noon today. It was hilarious.
I got the sweetest text today and it made me smile. I was sending a message JUST as my message arrived.
It made me happy that I was thinking of someone the same time they were thinking of me.

I have had loads of surgery (long story) and on one occasion I said to the anaesthetist that should I not wake up, I never forget a face, so I would see him on the other side!
Guess what ? I woke up!
Blondie, ROCK!
I read the other week though that when they recorded parralell lines they were pretty clueless and had to be roped in by the producer.
Anyway...............
Lots of love from England!
