Saturday...yum.
I am doing laundry and looking for Mardi Gras beads today...I have a box of them somewhere (having a Mardi Gras party next Saturday). I am excited; the Kingcake is ordered. I am not sure what to wear though, I have a week to decide between my fun party dress or a costume of some kind. The problem with the dress is that my best friend (in Louisiana) borrowed my bustier to wear for a wedding (in which the poor girl had to wear a strapless, burnt orange bridesmaid's dress_she has my size boobs, so this was not a good thing), the dress has straps that tie behind the neck, so I would have to wear my corset with it...hmm.
The temp. isn't terrible today...high of 30, but we have 40mph winds...so, I will be staying inside with my cats today.
Edit: My two best friends called me this afternoon from Louisiana to wish me Happy Mardi Gras; the first parade is tonight in Lafayette and they are heading out to that and to hang out with our friends...I am missing them fiercely right now, I am supposed to be with them this time of year, making them laugh and helping to catch beads...fuck, it is hard to live in Wyoming some days.

I SO know what you mean.... I used to take all my own, and DAY-UM it it isn't a good work out running back and forth to set the timer

I was distracted yesterday but am focused now...maybe you should wear her bridesmaid dress for the party...that would fall somewhere between party dress and costume... But burnt orange???? May as well have been Mardi Gras colors...
