Tonight is the homecoming football game at in our tiny town. Each class has a float and there will be a parade. The junior class motto: "We are tight like skinny jeans."

Anyone have suggestions for drywall texturing by hand? Seriously need suggestions here. I will be using joint compound and do not want to do the whole "machine" popcorn or slapbrush knowdown look. I tried out just a trowel sweeping thing, but I don't think I dig it. This is in smallish bathroom.

It is sunny and in the 50s here today and is supposed to reach 61 tomorrow. I am so ridiculously happy to have decent weather (though frankly I would enjoy temps in the 70s even more, I am tired of being cold all the time).
Elko hit 70-something today for our one day off, now it looks like we will be getting scattered snow showers starting probably tuesday (this means we should be guaranteed snow at the mine which is on a mountain of course).
