It's been an interesting couple of weeks since my last blog post. (Ok, more like a week and a few days, but it felt like weeks to me.)
- I've had mysterious amounts of money deposited in my bank account. (Very thankful for that)
- Preparations for my friend's wedding are underway. (Saturday 25th).
- Attended my third derby game of the season. I have yet to be disappointed.
- Was involved in a highly explicit sexually oriented discussion with four women while eating sushi and drinking wine. I've learned a lot and have more to learn.
- Had my last midterm today. 90% of the class, me included, got sideswiped by the teacher with his badass exam. I'm not expecting good results.
There isn't much else I could think of right now. I've been watching, bordering on obsession, a show on Animal Planet called Whale Wars. Some of you might have already heard of it on the news or watched a few episodes. For those who haven't, here's a brief trailer of the show:
I've already been watching episodes of season 4 and can't wait to see what else happens.
I've recently finished rereading one of my favourite books: Shogun by author James Clavell
I've been frantically looking for the TV mini-series that was produced in 1980 but have yet to find a viable version to watch. I know I'll get to watch it, in due time...
While I wait for that to happen, I've started to reread the second book in Clavell's Asian Saga: Tai-Pan
This is set in Hong Kong in the mid 19th century just as the colony is officially signed over to the British Crown. It's a good historical base to be used when reading Noble House which is also set in Hong Kong but this time in 1963.
I won't bore you all and leave you with this, for now.
Until next!

What did you learn? What did you learn? hehehe
