So I wake up this morning to the ring-a-ding-a-ling of my cellphone. It's my dad calling. He tells me he's at the garage replacing all four of his tires because he found them slashed. WHO STILL DOES THIS SHIT? I mean come on! He doesn't even live in the city! I'm not saying that this type of stupid ass shit only happens in the city but it's less likely to happen outside the city in the "suburbs". Again, key words in that last sentence being "less likely" as in, it might still happen. This was either perpetrated by some idiot with nothing else to do with their time or my dad has enemies I need to know about. I'm more inclined to believe it's the former.
Seems like I'm not the only one going through a string of bad luck as of late. There are days I'd call this karma, other days I'd call this life but today I'll just say it's stupid shit that shouldn't happen. PERIOD!
And in other news, there's another thing I've decided I'm going to do. I'm going to force myself to snap pictures EVERYDAY and work on them until I'm satisfied with my skill level. Photography has always been an interest of mine but it became even more when I found SG and saw what other people were doing. Right now it's something I like to do out of fun but I do hope in the future it can become something I can have fun with and maybe make a little extra pocket money to plug the holes when times are rough.
After the phone call this morning I was thinking about three types of successful people on this planet. The first kind come into it naturally. It usually stems from some kind of innate ability. The second and third kind are similar. One of which would come from hard work. We've all heard this phrase before. Hard work pays off. Practice makes perfect. Work work work. And then there's the third kind. Work extra hard and you'll gain success extra fast. Is that true? I wonder what would happen if you had an innate ability AND worked extra hard. What kind of combo would that give? Interesting...
Well, it's lunch time so I'm going to eat.
Bon apetit to anyone who is reading this and eating at the same time.
Until Next.

It takes about an hour. Maybe I'll do one set with and one without.
