THE ERIK SATIE MEMORIAL BARBECUE
I thought I hated pianos, but somehow I still manage to love Erik Satie. In some ways he's like Autechre or Aphex Twin, fiercely experimental, abstract, and exceedingly pure and beautiful.
Also with the made up song names like "Gymnopdie No.1" (although that may just be French).
I wish I could take a photo that looks like Erik Satie's music sounds. Maybe someday.

Not really. I'll look around and see if I can find any. Their about an inch and a half thick and are on the exact same spot on both wrists -- right above my wrist bone, so I can wear long sleeves and still cover them if I chose.
meimeimei:
I was on a film set today and one of the sounds recordists was playing on a piano that happened to be in the room all the equipment was based. I was about to ask him if he knew any Satie and all of a sudden I heard some! Kelly (Camera assistant?) was playing it!
