took a hot hot shower.. i love showers so much.. the way the entire bathroom gets all hot and steamy and smells like whatever kind of soap you were using.. how you can stand under the water in just the perfect way and it'll stream over the crown of your head, down your face, and down your chest, and also down the back of your neck and over your shoulderblades. all covered in hot water, like a waterfall. and i like to be scrubby-clean, too. i've written about this before, but it's so nice to scrub off the top layer of skin and be all super-soft and clean underneath. you're not clean unless you're pink, i think!
i stopped on the stairs at school the other day, and looked at an old spiderweb. it was in an older building, so the spiderweb was framed against a window with beautiful old dark wood moldings around it.. it was slightly frayed around the edges, and some of the outside parts were torn out. the little dusty bits were haloed by the sun, like the peach fuzz on someone's face when they're silhouetted against a bright sky. but around the middle there was a perfect point, with a spiral radiating from it. most spiderwebs are imperfect; they've had to be repaired because of bugs. this one was absolutely flawless. it looked so soft, like i could run my fingers down the strands and it would feel like the fur behind a rabbit's ears. but i would have broken it with my big clumsy person fingers. so i left it alone. i hope that whoever sticks a duster through it takes the time to look at it for a second first.
more studying, now. i haven't studied nearly enough for my orals. they'll go however they go, i suppose. i have to decide what kind of food to make for them - i'm thinking either a fruit plate or some strawberry shortcake. i made good strawberry shortcake for easter - cream sherry in the whipped cream.. mmmm..
i hope i sleep well tonight. i need to be rested.
goodnight!

Sherry in the whipped cream is the secret. Well, one of them. Spiders know the others. I hope you got your rest!
