ugh - today - not so great . . .
i started off doing this awesome head of finger waves, I got about half way thru and got a client at school (so of course that half way awesome head dried out and turned to CRAP). Perm, and cut. ok got it.
In her consultation she said she wanted a body wave - which means not too much curl. I wrap the hair while she complains about how i do it, is there another way you prefer? no, she replies. are you sure? once again, no. finished. not supposed to blow dry but she still wants a cut. There is no curl in this perm she says, my teacher and I look at each other like she is crazy, I hand her the small mirror and rotate the chair, oh wow nevermind she says. Then she says - wait you are going to cut my hair now - you are going to cut all the perm out. (which is not possible unless I shave her fucking head) i will just give you a trim I said. ok - done. then she says - what about the roller set? I ask what roller set, well i got a perm dont you know anything - its finished with a roller set. I tell her it is not on her slip and that it is not typical but if she would like one that can be arranged. ok - really hungry - lunch time passes. roller set done - put her under the dryer. eat lunch. come back and begin to form her fucking old lady helmet. apparently by the rolling of her eyes she hates the way I am styling it. so i ask her, is there anything you want me to know about the way you like your hair styled? she says no. OH WELL FUCK YOU THEN YOU OLD CUNT! ok bye peace out dont come back - glad I spent all day doing your hair crap face.
ok people - if you go to a salon and you dont like the way something is being done it cant be fixed unless you say something!!!!! and remember people - in general - dont like to be shit on so say it nicely!
In addition to this I am waiting for a UPS package with a new shampoo cape in it cause mine is ripped - I will need this sooner rather than later to prevent clients from getting wet or getting chemicals on their clothing. 1st notice arrived yesterday - please sign back and we will leave package - ok will do - gorilla taped to the FRONT fucking door - driver walks right past it and leaves a second attempt notice on the apartment door - WHAT!?!?!?! are you fucking kidding me - I call UPS - they want to help but cant - WTF? so now I am waiting for them to tell me where I can pick it up.
gonna go make dinner now and watch star trek - thanks for letting me vent guys
