So, I'm back. Here's some of what's been going on...
1) I'm about to graduate and very excited. I didn't make Summa Cum Laude, but I'm less disappointed by that than I thought I'd be. I was going to skip graduation, but K & A convinced me to walk.
2) I signed a lease for a place here next year. I really didn't want to live in a college town for a sixth year, but at least we know the area. We've got a roomate next year, a nice girl we're sort of friends with. And we're friends with our neighbors, so that's a plus.
3) I developed a ridiculous crush on my english teacher. I acted like a sixteen-year-old girl for about two weeks. This guy's great, though. He's brilliant, and funny, and laid back, and... kinda smokin. He has a PhD in victorian poetry, watches South Park and introduced me to Badlands. Thank goodness my husband has a sense of humor about the fact that his wife's taste in men is mostly limited to men in their late 40's with post-graduate degrees.
4) I spent a week with my husband and some friends at Ryan's grandparents' lake house. This was my first (and likely only) spring break trip, and it was fantastic. Great times, incredible food, shopping, boating, kyaking, laying out in the sun and lots of booze.
5) I'm headed back to Idaho this summer. Lots of my friends are coming back, and my husband got a promotion. I can't wait to be back in Boise.
6) My buddy Rocky got married to a girl he dated for two months. We're all dubious, but happy for him.
7) My car exploded yesterday. I have to pay $1300 to get it fixed so I can drive cross-country. I'm getting a loan from my folks, so everything ought to work out.
8) I've gotten better at poker, and started to win money some of the time at our friendly games.
