Accidentally stumbled onto a hyper-conservative blog today... and I thought politics couldn't make me mad anymore.
I've taken a lot of steps in the last couple of years to try to be understanding about other people's political leanings. I really do think that everyone's input is valid... right up until I hear some dick spouting jingoist nonsense. I've stopped reading the campus paper, because if I'm going to read an opposing viewpoint, I'd like it to be at least somewhat articulate. And well-thought-out. And supported by something more than "I feel this way because gays are gross and I hate the French".
On a happy note, I got my Shack*Shakers CD today.

Heh, then I take it your radio never gets set to anything on the AM side. Although there are a couple of shows that are good for a laugh if you don't think about the fact that millions of people are hanging on every word...

No, I quit listening to the radio almost entirely. The music selection in WV is pretty awful. Though I imagine certain stations would have that frightening sort of hilarity.
