I brought my portfolio in to work today at Esther's request. Flipping through it again was torture. By now all I can see are the stupid mistakes and unecessary photos. Esther and Nicole said a few nice things, which is incredibly gratifying to hear from people as talented as them. Nicole praised my dance concert design from a couple of years ago, Esther liked my...

I'm back in Boise and having a pretty good time. My husband is working really hard (today was his second seventeen-hour day this week). This year I'm trying to convince the senior actors in the company that I'm every bit as valuable as the woman they're used to. It's rough and I hate doing it, but I have to if I want to be promoted...

Watched the De la Hoya/Racist-McFitty fight tonight. Mayweather's dad looks like the predator. Based on tonight, though, I've decided that I like boxing more than I've ever liked football. Thankfully, boxing doesn't have unbearably long seasons.

So, I'm back. Here's some of what's been going on...
1) I'm about to graduate and very excited. I didn't make Summa Cum Laude, but I'm less disappointed by that than I thought I'd be. I was going to skip graduation, but K & A convinced me to walk.
2) I signed a lease for a place here next year. I really didn't want to...

Bye for now.

huh? see ya!
Ann Coulter is an unbearable cunt.
meghand:
I'm probably leaving this site soon. Financial constrictions have dictated a cut-back in my monthly entertainment budget, which this is a part of. Guess I'll be back in a few months, budget permitting. Sorry to all my friended folks (this is how I lost a coveted "friendship" with Mnislahi the last time, guess I should budget better for porn).
BTW, Anne Coulter is still an unbearable cunt. If you haven't seen the clip where she calls John "I'm an incredibly sweet guy" Edwards a faggot, watch it. If you didn't hate her already, this will make you wish God was more active and hurled lightning bolts down on people who deserved it.

So right now I'm OBSESSED with Deadwood. Other things are going on: today I pulled more than a twelve hour day because we're opening a production of The Kentucky Cycle this weekend. It's really exciting; I can't believe K&A have put up such an impressive production with so little support from the theatre department here. But I'm staying up much later than I should...

I've never watched Deadwood (I don't watch much TV these days).
So what's it about?

Guiness toast last night was a blast! Got beads and a t-shirt, and made it home safe. Found out this morning that after he got home from the bar a friend of mine punched out not one, not two, but three people during three seperate conflicts. One of them showed up to rehearsal this morning with a fat lip, and the directors are screaming bloody...

Scary day. Last night my husband got a job with a tour (HUGE fucking deal. It paid well, he had friends on the tour, and it didn't mess with his summerstock schedule). This morning he got a call from the production manager, who decided to hire some buddy of his instead (the PM's, not my husband's).

Sorry to hear about your husband getting offered the job and then dropped at the last minute. That really sucks. It shouldn't be legal to offer someone a job and then change your mind and its completely unprofessional for an interviewer to do that. I once had a similar experience. I went to the interview and the interviewer was really friendly and really impressed with my CV and he said that he was going to give me the job but he just had to interview one last candidate. A few days later I hadn't received a phone call to confirm that I had the job so I called them up and was told that the job had been given to someone else. The t*ss*rs had practically offered me the job but then couldn't be bothered to tell me that they'd changed their minds!! I hope your husband is able to bounce back from this and find other work. Has he called up his other employers to tell them that he doesn't have the job after all? Some of them might not yet have filled their vacancies. Good luck to him and you with sorting things out.

Let's go Bears!
Things at the building have gotten better. I bought earplugs and found out my friend Kiera across the hall had made a fuss about the parties to our landlord, which means somewhat quieter nights. Eight hours of sleep, here I come!
