I read an interesting article recently that suggested the best kept resolutions are the specific, measurable ones. Things like, instead of saying 'I want to play in the garden more' say 'I will spend one afternoon in the garden each week' or, even better (but harder to adhere to sometimes) would be 'I will spend Insert-a-day afternoons in the garden'. Apparently it's all about getting specific.
