it's not even vacation for me, it is more like a family trip. when I'm forced to leave my home I'd like to be somewhere, anywhere that is relaxing. only have to get through a few more days. I left Denver Thursday the 19th, flew to Chicago and then drove to mechanicsville, IA. it's nice to see my family, get presents and eat but geez dealing with my munchkin, an uncomfortable bed and dealing with my immediate family can get stressful. today is my last day in Iowa. going to see my cousins one last time, until next year. Tomorrow we drive to Champaign, Illinois to my grandmother's house. we'll be celebrating on actual xmas there. happy that I will be staying at a hotel, can get a little break from people. I'm thinking pool time. then finally we fly home Thursday. I can't wait, but I'm not looking forward to all the gifts we have to bring back with us.
