i'm so pissed. i just pulled up my daughter's nearly brand new mattress and found mildew in the wood floor and on the mattress. WTF? i hate this house.

the previously ham turned out fun. it was a nice meal. i had to freeze most of it because it was more then we could ever eat.

i feel like i'm half asleep sometimes. days just fly by with little to no memory of what happened. i'm in a terrible mental funk and i need to get out of it. i was thinking of taking...

i did a makeup trail run today. liquid liner is so hard to work with. i need more practice with it. the hubby loved my "slut red" lipstick. he's out of town on a work thing and keeps harassing me for dirty text messages and photos.

it's warm enough today that i've got most of the windows open and air is moving through the house. it's a shame because i cooked the most delicious smelling dinner last night and i love walking into my house smelling like food.

i organized my pantry last night. boring but it made feel like i accomplished something.

I love it when my house smells like food cooking. We never even had an exhaust growing up.. my hubby always turns the exhaust on because he hates the house smelling like food, and it makes me so angry! What is not to love about fresh bread baking or homemade lasagna!

LOL I was just about to tell you to netflix slumdog, and I looked up and you mentioned netflix'ing meerkat manor. Slumdog was the only one I saw and it was great! I am going to netflix the others if the wait isnt too long to get the movies. Meerkat is so funny, the way they narrate it and humanize them.

i'm about to cook a whole chicken for the first time. i've helped with Thanksgiving turkeys but never done a bird from scratch. i'm scared i'm going to ruin the bird. i'm also going to attempt to make a bone broth when i'm done cooking it. huzzah for cooking from scratch
