So, the weatherman says we're in for some snow, followed by an ice storm, followed by more snow. Sounds fun?! As I watch the news the reporter was doing a story on storm-preparedness, trlling us that we're probably going to be without power for a day or two, and suggested getting a generator (by the way, we in Indiana are used to freakish weather and don't need a storm-preparedness refresher course). The reporter then goes on to say that if the stores are out if generators, you can buy an inverter that hooks to a car battery and use that to run the power-consuming things in your home. She then says....you can use the inverter until the car battery runs out....and then all you have to do is....recharge it! Anyone else see a problem with this logic?! Haha!
